Caruso Fall/Winter 2014–Presenting his collection during Milan Fashion Week, Caruso designer Sergio Colantuoni sought to reclaim “the physical space around a man’s body” for fall/winter 2014. Venturing outside standard menswear styles, cloaks were at the collection’s core, revealing the season’s romantic take on nature. Other unusual essentials of note were the apron and fur coat. While the apron symbolized Italian craftsmanship, the fur coat pointed to a primitive hunter. Altogether, covetable pieces showed a varying degree of elegance, grounded in a certain practicality.
