Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2014–Holding court this season, Dolce & Gabbana explored a period of conquest, looking to the history of the Norman kings of Sicily for a regal fall/winter 2014 showing. Continuing a recent trend for the label of oversized tops, sweatshirts in enlarged proportions were dressed with images of past royalty and armored soldiers. Stretching similar images across tailored suits, Dolce & Gabbana committed to the season’s motif, expanding into architectural-inspired prints before exploring furs and other great textures for the cold winter ahead. Rounding out the collection with simple tailored suiting, double-breasted jackets, pinstripe suits and velvet tuxedo jackets celebrated the Italian fashion house’s signature approach to timeless luxury.
