Ermenegildo Zegna Fall/Winter 2014-Showing his second collection for Ermenegildo Zegna, Stefano Pilati sent his men down the catwalk against a backdrop of the universe. Fusing an elegant take on the future with tailored classics, Pilati’s strength was felt in outerwear, primarily employing his signature oversized silhouettes. An ideal blend of wearable fashions and a conceptual spin working hand in hand, the collection was executed with a certain sophistication. Here, hues of navy and camel dressed parkas, suits, overcoats, draped outerwear and more. Incorporating wool plaids and refined quilting among structured knitwear, the overall collection made a strong sartorial statement accessible.
