Timo Weiland Fall/Winter 2014–The latest collection from Timo Weiland was inspired by the label’s home base of New York and a concept of modern love. Fall’s take on modern love was inspired by a photo of Kelly Shimoda entitled “I guess you don’t want to talk to me anymore”. The photo captures a text message on an old flip phone aiming to squash a lover’s quarrel. Translating this moment for the new collection, stripes and checkered plaid gave way to carefully placed details that decorate the label’s comfortable stamp on modern leisure.
