Umit Benan Fall/Winter 2014–Showing in Paris for the first time, designer Umit Benan created an old-school baseball field as he dedicated his latest collection to Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play in Major League Baseball. Using the occasion to attach a letter to varsity jackets, coats and more, a sporty spirit was reinforced throughout the collection. Relaxed silhouettes provided easy suiting that transitioned into quilted essentials sprinkled amongst more substantial pieces.
